Used Hospital Bed – Drive Delta Ultra Light 1000

Description

Used electric hospital bed, tested and working. This bed is available for delivery in the GTA; simply select the delivery options when checking out.

The Delta 1000 is incredibly versatile, as its bed frame is compatible with Drive’s bed ends as well as those from most other manufacturers, both old and new. The transition box, mounted on the foot section, is crucial for this flexibility (Figure A). It allows you to adjust the rotation of the high/low shaft with ease. The headboard is designed to be taller than the footboard, blending seamlessly with home decor (Figure B). Its wood grain panels are resistant to breaks and scratches, ensuring durability.

The foot section is 50% lighter than traditional foot sections, enhancing safety and ease during deliveries. Once installed, the high/low shaft remains with the bed, preventing misplacement or loss during future installations (Figure C). For added safety, the labels and color-coded springs ensure correct side rail installation (Figure D). The unique motor is fully self-contained, reducing both weight and noise.

Notably, the motor assembly can be installed or removed even while a patient is in the bed. The bed, side rails, and mattress have been safety-tested by SGS, a nationally recognized testing facility, and meet all applicable FDA entrapment guidelines. Additionally, the motor is UL approved.

In case of a power outage, a 9-volt battery in the hand control can lower the head and foot sections up to nine times, no crank required. The new hand pendant features large, easy-to-use controls (Figure E). The bed ships in two cartons, with a channel frame construction that offers superior strength while minimizing weight. It also includes a zinc-coated spring deck and an optional extension kit (model #15030EXTKIT) that extends the bed length from 80″ to 84″.

With a patent pending, the bed has a weight capacity of 450 lbs.
